About PS Finance

At the beginning of the 2004-05 fiscal year, the campuses upgraded accounting information system from FRS to PeopleSoft Finance 8.4. Having successfully used this system for the last four years, we are now beginning to prepare for an upgrade to version 9.0 in March 2009.

Access

To apply for access:

  1. Fill out and submit an Access Request Form. Be sure to include your administrator's signature.
  2. Training may be obtained through any combination of Web self-study, peer assistance, or scheduled classes (see Training below). While we do not require training before you are granted access to this system, we highly encourage it by providing several different opportunities both in-person and online.

Training

Training Guides for requisition entry are available on the Procurement website.

All other training for Finance inquiry and reporting is offered on a recurring basis along with Hyperion training for more advance analysis. The introductory sequence will be offered monthly in FY 2008-09.

Additional advanced training in specific topics will be offered on an ad hoc basis. To suggest a topic for training, email bis@humboldt.edu. For more information about class content and available sessions, see:
