Administrative Affairs Strategic Planning
Major Business Units(MBU's) completed SWOT Analysis activities and informed Directors in the development of strategic priorities. The Directors have established five strategic themes for departments to engage with their goal setting activities. They are Service Excellence, Integrity, Communication Optimization, Efficiency, and Campus Image.General goals were developed by Directors and MBU's have customized their department goals to align with the Division's strategic priorities. Using this information in the structure of the Balanced Scorecard will allow departments to prioritize and structure their efforts in alignment with the desired outcomes of the Administrative Affairs Division strategic planning process.
Balanced Scorecard Deployment
Business Units have created Balanced Scorecard Teams for each Division Strategic Theme. Teams are currently working through the Balanced Scorecard training and methodology to fulfill their team goals. Teams are now working with the CMS QI Analyst to create specific goals, measures, and improvement plans for the academic year. The goal is to have all Team goals and measures in PB Views by the end of Summer 2007, to begin use in the Fall semester.

QI Training Development
As QI projects and Balanced Scorecard efforts begin, training is being established in the areas of process mapping, QI project methodology, and customer service.
