Welcome to the Training Website!

We are committed to fulfilling and supporting the BIS mission by providing training support and resources for Humboldt State University’s Enterprise Applications.  The training offered by BIS aids HSU staff in improving both their competency and efficiency of PeopleSoft, Hyperion and other software applications that Humboldt State University relies on. In addition we offer classes in web design and quality improvement. Our class offerings and the training resources we provide are in an evolutionary and progressive phase.

5/09/08- The BIS training website now has an updated look and feel with new functionality including an expanded skills inventory, more class offerings and an improved catalog of training offerings. All of this is designed to better support the needs and requirments of university staff to conduct necessary business processes.

5/08/08- In collaboration with the Human Resources department, Colby Smart and Phil Rouse recently completed a pilot project aimed at collective statistical feedback from on campus interviews. This project is designed to allow participants the ability to give feedback on prospective employee presentations.

3/03/08- Colby Smart and Phil Rouse recently presented at the Quality Improvement Facilitator's annual confernece in San Diego.  Below are links to their presentations.
